The Gen Nano has a maximum wattage output of 80W and uses a 2000mAh built-in battery and the GTX Tank 22 has incredible airflow adjustments. The Gen Nano is a small mod but it still packs all of the same features as it’s full-sized big brother. It will fire at up to 80W in wattage mode and from 200-600°F in TC mode.
As the saying goes: big things come in small packages. This definitely rings true for the Gen Nano kit. For a box mod with a 2000mAh built-in battery, it’s surprisingly light. Even with a tank attached, it’s lighter than some pod vapes. The small size and lightweight make the Gen Nano perfect to slip into a pocket; the shape slides into your jean pocket easily and barely even notice that it’s there.
The 510 is gold plated and spring loaded. It’s centered and will take up to 24mm tanks without overhang. 22mm tanks like the GTX Tank 22 that comes in the kit look right at home. 24mm tanks don’t look out of place either but they’ll sit just flush with the edges of the mod.
The screen on the Gen Nano is the same 0.91” OLED. It’s bright and displays your battery charge in percentage, coil resistance, puff time, wattage, and mode. Another useful feature is that it displays a suggested wattage range based on the coil that you’re using. This is perfect for those times when you forget what the suggested wattage range of your coil is and saves you from having to look it up.
The buttons are all well-made and responsive. They work with just the right amount of pressure and there’s no button rattle at all. The overall build quality of the Gen Nano is similar — well-made and precisely built.

The GTX Tank Summary:
The GTX Tank 22 is included with the Gen Nano Kit. It’s a small 22mm tank that comes in the same color as the Gen Nano. The top cap and airflow control ring have knurling for grip and it goes really well with the aesthetics of the Gen Nano.
The top cap is threaded and unscrews. Removing the top cap exposes the inside of the tank so it can be filled anywhere inside the glass. No matter what the size or type of bottle, there’s no trouble filling up. The GTX Tank 22 is that it’s compatible with all GTX coils, which are the same coils used by the PM30, PM80, and PM80 SE.
The GTX Tank 22 comes with two coils:
- a 0.2ohm mesh coil (Rated for 45-60W)
- a 0.6ohm mesh coil (Rated for 20-30W)
The 0.2ohm coil is the same coil that comes with the PM80 and PM80 SE. The 0.6ohm coil is the same coil that comes with the PM80 SE and PM30. If you have coils for any of these devices then you’ll be able to use them in this tank. These coils push into the bottom of the tank so installation or removal is simple.
There are three airflow slots on the base of the GTX Tank 22. These slots are pretty small so the draw that you get from this tank differs quite a bit from the draw that you get with the PM series devices. I’ll elaborate more on the airflow in the next section. This airflow control ring is fully adjustable and works on a stopper. It can be fully closed if needed.j
Restricted lung hits are where it’s at with the 0.6ohm coil. The flavor from this coil is good. The clouds are actually respectable too for what it is. This coil is rated for 20-30W, but it vapes best on the lower end of this rating. The sweet spot with this coil is 22.5W, and this is especially true when using a high VG ejuice.
